Celebrating Women's History Month: Chrissy Webb Speaks
We continue to celebrate Women's History Month here at the American Outlaws, by honoring and highlighting all the great women's players, achievements, and moments in soccer history. Our organization would not be where it is today without the strength of our USWNT and we enjoy supporting them on and off the field.

To help us tell some of these stories, we turned to the women members and chapter leaders who make our organization so great to tell us who their favorite USWNT players are, why Women's History Month is so important, and what we all can do as an organization and lovers of the game to continue to support women's soccer amid its exponential growth. We continue our series with Chrissy Webb of AO Nashville.
Name: Chrissy Webb
Chapter: AO Nashville

Who is your favorite USWNT player of all time?
Ali Krieger

What makes Ali Krieger your all-time favorite?
Krieger has been on of very best right backs. She has overcome injury and persevered to return to the NT 2019. Off the field Krieger has been an advocate for inequalities of equal pay, racial discrimination and LGBTQI community and the abuse of women in the NWSL.

What does Women's History Month mean to you?
Women’s History Month means a time to celebrate social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women as well as placing a spotlight on the relevant issues women are experiencing globally.

Is there a particular women's soccer moment that you think should be highlighted during the month?
[The] Equal Pay fight.

Do you plan on attending the Women's World Cup this summer?
Can't make it, but will be watching from home or my chapter bar

Who is your favorite current USWNT player?
Becky Sauerbrunn

The captain! What about Becky makes her your favorite?
Becky is our captain for many reasons.  Her  impact on and off the field is remarkable. On the field she is a leader and a role model. To name just a few of things she does off the field, she advocates for equality for LGBTQIA+ community, speaks out against racial
Inequality, gun violence, as well as the abuses that have occurred through women’s soccer. Becky makes the soccer community a better place.

What do you wish from soccer fans to continue supporting the growth of the women's game?
To support the NT players through their clubs as well as women’s soccer in their communities.

What else can AO (members, chapter leaders, National staff) do to support the growth of women's soccer in this country?
National staff giving more posts during the NWSL season about game days as the MNT. Chapters being more supportive of the NWSL by introducing members to the league.
