On December 13th, the American Outlaws Boston chapter will host their 6th annual Winter Ball at the Arc Nightclub in Boston. The ball, which benefits America Scores in Boston, has become a staple for the AO members in Boston as well as the surrounding chapters in the Northeast. The idea for the ball began as a joke between Fran Harrington and Garrett Quinn. “We were talking about dressing up and going to a soccer match, we quickly realized how dumb that would be, and then the conversation turned to the idea of a “soccer prom,” said Harrington via email. They decided very early that it would be a good idea to get AO’s together as well as benefiting a great local charity, and America Scores was an easy choice. The charity, developed in 1994, is a national agency that benefits local urban youth with soccer as well as assistance in development as young adults and enhancing their abilities as students. AO Boston has generated over $9,000.00 to date, and this year will surely be their biggest thus far. What a fantastic achievement! Join them this year!
