The American Outlaws, the nation’s largest unofficial United States soccer supporter group, is going to Canada! In 2014 the American Outlaws were the largest single group of traveling supporters to the FIFA World Cup in Brazil and we plan on following that performance up in 2015 for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Tickets recently went on sale for each of the six individual venues and the knockout stages (including the World Cup Finals) and we have received numerous inquiries from individual members and AO chapters as to our plans for the tournament next year. American Outlaws are not planning on releasing any specific details for the 2015 Women’s World Cup until after the WWC draw on December 6th, 2014. The USWNT must first qualify for the WWC in October through CONCACAF qualifying as well. If the USWNT qualify (which we expect they will) we will await the draw in December for their group, which will then reveal the dates and venues of their group stage games and path to the Final. It is most likely that we will offer flight and hotel discounts through our travel partners United Airlines and various hotels much like we do for domestic matches. For each group match (and perhaps beyond) we will seek local facilities to host U.S. fans for pre-match parties hopefully within marching distance of the stadiums.
