Dear AO Family, We’re beyond excited that the FIFA World Cup is returning to the United States alongside Mexico and Canada in 2026. Hosting the world’s greatest soccer tournament is an honor and the American Outlaws can’t wait to support our national team on home soil. It’s also a huge opportunity to be able to show the world and casual fans here what it means to be fans and to be a part of the biggest soccer experience in the world. As always, you can expect that the American Outlaws will be equally prepared to host fans from all over the planet and produce incredible support as we dream of hoisting the World Cup Trophy as hosts. It is an incredible opportunity to be able to unite and strengthen an entire nation behind our team. The 1994 World Cup was FIFA’s highest attended tournament ever and the 1999 Women’s World Cup Final is the largest attended women’s sporting event in history. There is no doubt that the United States, Mexico, and Canada are ready to make history again. While AO was not in existence yet, both tournaments left a lasting impression on many of our members and we’ve waited a long time for this chance again. In addition to our work in the stands, we are looking forward to the work we will be doing in our communities as 2026 approaches. We are working with Lionsraw on our “26x26” project, to build 26 fields and community projects in 26 cities by 2026. Over the next eight years, we’ll continue our work to build soccer in this country from grassroots to grand stadiums to demonstrate that the United States is truly a soccer nation. When the United States walks out onto the field to open the 2026 World Cup at home, we know we will have our support at an all-time high, but we are equally looking forward to the efforts we will make off the field to make the 2026 World Cup’s impact be felt long after the tournament ends.
