USMNT vs. Honduras 8pm ET
Boca Raton, FL – FAU Stadium
ESPN, WatchESPN, UniMas
After a disappointing late equalizer on Friday, the USMNT wasn’t able to bid farewell to LD with a win against Ecuador, though it was quite the spectacle for those lucky enough to see it. Enner Valencia scored a stunning goal from 30 yards out in the 88thminute that cancelled out Diskerud’s opener, giving equal honors to both teams. It looked as though LD was destined to bag a goal before bowing out, but it wasn’t to be. It was a fitting sendoff for Landon Donovan given the amount of work he has put in for the USMNT and those in the AO section were lucky enough to witness him up on the capo stand giving his good-byes in true LD fashion. What a man, what amazing memories he has given us. We love you.
But, the show must go on….
