The Hype #AOThanksLD For many USMNT and MLS fans of this generation, Landon Donovan has been (simply put) the face of our sport. His resume speaks for itself… LD has more goals and assists than any USMNT player, an ESPY for 2010 goal against Algeria, 11 consecutive MLS All-Star appearances, and probably has more appearances for his country than most of us have appearances in a gym (157). More than that, LD exemplifies what we as fans have grown to love about our yanks; grit and determination to be the best whilst growing the sport in our country. LD has put us on the map. And he deserves every bit of recognition that we, as fans, can provide for what he has done. Let’s provide him with the proper send-off, both in the stands and online.
